Part of giving back to the community involves teaching others about robotics.
In the fall of 2007 I taught 3 sessions on an introduction to microcontrollers using the Basic Stamp 1. You can download them below.
In the spring of 2009 I thought a 10-week “Introduction to Robotics”
course. I used 5 Boe-Bot robots to teach 8 underclassmen how to use the robot,
and the Basic Stamp 2 microcontroller. The lesson plan was based mostly on the book that comes with the boe-bots. I also added a lesson on using 7-segment leds and PING))) ultrasound sensors.
